How the course works

  • Course Requirements: Complete 24 hours of training over 2 weeks. The next course begins online February 12th, 2024. Classes run weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 4 hours (with a 15-minute break) each week.
  • In-class Sessions: Classes are divided into 6 modules, each focusing on a different area of digital marketing, including the basics as well as more complex strategies and tools.
  • Remote Learning: The interactive classroom sessions of this course will be delivered live each week via Google Meet. The course is proud to have Richard Wood as its lead instructor (see biography below).
  • Practical Homework: To reinforce what they’ve learned in class, participants will be given 60 minutes of homework per module. This will help cement their understanding and apply the theories in a practical context.
  • Hands-On Assignments: In addition to class sessions and homework, participants will spend up to 10 hours working on client-specific tasks. This offers a real-world application of the learned concepts and techniques.
  • Tools and Platforms: A variety of digital tools are incorporated into the course for an engaging learning experience. These include Miro for virtual activities, Google Drive for file sharing, HubSpot for notifications and communication, and Google Meet for screen sharing and interaction.

Biography

Richard Wood, BA is the Content Strategist at Loop Strategic Marketing. Richard joined the team in 2021 as Loop’s third hire. In that time he has worked on over 30 new website builds. His work plays an integral role in the content strategy for websites, SEO, and social media marketing for Loop’s clients.
